This nomination acknowledges the exceptional work and innovation by the team, including Karl Bend, Partner and Head of Competency Centre Intelligent Ordering, and Ravi Poluru, Senior UDF Consultant.
At the outset, the project encountered challenges with managing large master data volumes in CAR. The team overcame these hurdles by ensuring high-quality data inputs from POS, Promotions, and Master Data. This preparation enabled the optimization of UDF for Calendar Events, Promotions, and store-specific activities, greatly improving operational efficiency and accuracy.
The project also saw the introduction of advanced data maintenance tools and the retailsolutions SAC UDF Analytics Suite. Additionally, the deployment of a UDF vs F&R Forecast Comparison Dashboard was key in achieving superior forecast accuracy and streamlining operations.
